north terrace walking tour
Adelaide has a history and heritage unlike any of the other Australian capital cities. A walking tour of North Terrace is a great way to experience the grandeur of its iconic buildings, discover the unique history of South Australia and get to know some of the eccentric characters who turned a ‘radical dream’ into a thriving colony.
Tours begin at the eastern end of Parliament House, on the corner of North Terrace and King William Street. We walk at a comfortable pace along North Terrace, passing many of Adelaide's significant landmarks. Along the way we hear the stories behind the construction of these great buildings, as well as episodes from South Australian history, and tales of many of the people who had such an influence on the city.
Tours last about 1½ hours and finish at Bonython Hall, at the intersection of Pulteney Street & North Terrace
